Where is waterpark of america

Water Park of America also offers a lazy river, wave pool, tube and body slides and the only FlowRider surf simulator in Minnesota. The park's activity pool offers water basketball and a floating log walkway and kids can explore Fort Snelling , a multi-story, interactive water play structure with a tipping water bucket a top. Radisson Hotel Bloomington is located adjacent to the Mall of America. The resort's guest rooms and family suites are family friendly with in-room refrigerators, microwaves and complimentary wireless Internet.

As far as pricing, there are no discounts for younger children, even though they are only using the "toddler area" and I put that in quotes, because again, there were no life guards manning that area, and the teenagers had pretty much taken over, forcing our youngest out of the only area that she was big enough to play in.

If you are looking for a family friendly place, this is definitely not it. This is more of a teenager hangout, and anyone else just gets in the way. When leaving, my husband tried to tell someone at the water park and someone at the hotel front desk, and neither person seemed interested in what he had to say.

Fortunately we had decided to stay somewhere else, so we could leave and not look back. But FINALLY, to top this all off, when we got home, after not getting a response from anyone while we were there, I went onto Facebook and "liked" the Water Park page so that I could post my concerns with the hope that they would address them They had the nerve to delete my post and not bother to respond to me. When I posted a 2nd post calling them on this, they said someone would get back with me and then deleted that post.

It'll come as no surprise that I'm still waiting for that response. Read more. Honest 4 contributions. Birthday Party???? What a Joke!!!!!! We had our daughters birthday party at the water park. I planned it through their birthday coordinator Latyna or what ever her name is Birthday coordinator???

Wouldnt a birthday coordinator at least check on the birthday ONCE??? They say you get a slice of pizza, cupcake and pop and balloon decorations for the price you pay My daughters table was the only table not decorated they must have gotten the word she is naughty!!!! Trying to get the pizza, chips and cupcakes was like trying to get a glass of water in hell.. When you talk to staff trying to get your food they are really good and pointing to other employees to help you or tell you its coming..

We seriously did not see a single staff member the entire time we were there for 8 hours.. I didnt expect them to swim but maybe check on us during food and ask how we were doing or needed anything.. That still cracks me up!!!!!!! Get a groupon dont bother having a "birthday coordinator" its cheaper.. You only get a table for a little bit not worth it!!!!!

Yvette P. I apologize for your recent experience during your daughters birthday party at the Water Park of America. I would greatly appreciate if you contacted me at ypeters waterparkofamerica. Thank you Yvette P. Terrible, filthy they do not care about the customers. We went to Water Park of America for the first time this past Saturday. I was surprised when I was required to pay full price for my two year old twins.

There were 4 adults and a 4 year old so that added up quite quickly, and for just a few hours in the afternoon to be honest we felt ripped off. We were told that the babies could do pretty much everything except the body slides.

Once there I was so disappointed at the locker room, FILTHY and with no room to walk around or get undressed, and to make matters worse, one had to walk across the water park from the locker room to get a security box key. With kids imagine how difficult this can be.

The locker room is way to small to accommodate the guests at the park, and it only has two private dressing areas. Once we finally managed to get out we soon realized that there were not enough tubes for the water activities and people would hold on to the tubs even if they were not in the water and nobody would do anything about this.

Again with small children this becomes a huge challenge. When we managed to get to the tub slides we were told the twins could not get on, we told the people we were told they could and with resistance let us in. It was impossible to to this ride often because the lines to wait for the tubes was too long. Then for us adults once we managed to leave the kids with one of us we found that the two body slides in the mid level were closed Again we could only do it once because the twins again 2 years old could not resist the wait.

We found this to be terrible in logistics, way too overpriced. Our twins should have not paid full price, not even half would have been fair. You cannot expect smaller children to use the bigger rides with lack of tubes and wait times. And I hope mgmt does something about how trashed the park was inside and outside the park, filth everywhere.

Talk to more local friend and all have told us we should have asked them and they would have warned us, they told us they also would never go back.

Do not waist your money! Been there a few times When we arrived we paid for our tickets and proceeded towards the locker rooms. On the way in my son sliced his ankle on the wall It was sticking out and clearly needed to be fixed. Their response was completely unacceptable. The desk people completely ignored my son and my request for assistance. I asked for the manager and the "manager" didn't offer one word of assistance or apology. I had to ask her to get 1st aid to help clean up the blood and bandage my sons ankle up.

Then after 15 minutes someone finally came after I had already taken my own bandages out of my bag to clean him up. Not one word of apology or assistance!!!

I asked for the managers manager at this time and when these two came a male and female I explained what happened and how I was incredibly upset by the lack of concern. These two "managers" simply listened to what happened and said "oh. Instead I got a complete lack of concern, ignored and nothing! Also, please know that my husband is a lawyer and he feels that this could become a bigger deal if something isn't done.

We both feel that there was zero regard for the well being and safety for my child and complete disregard for the right thing I have been here about 3 times and every single time I find that the staff is nothing but rude. Even on the phone when you call and ask a question I have six tickets sitting on my desk for admission and I can't bring myself to use them because we've had such negative experiences here!

You can arrive as early as pm on the day of your arrival to access the water park before room check-in at pm. Passes are free for children ages 2 and under.
